Alma Vale Road, Clifton, Bristol

3WA were appointed to redevelop and existing car showroom and 1907 garage workshop into two new contemporary houses as well as the reconfiguration of the adjacent existing house into four new apartments. The scale and language of the elevations are in keeping with the materiality of the surrounding buildings. The scheme retains the existing brickwork walls to the garage workshop with the insertion of the new timber framed houses. The original footprint of the buildings on the site was unaltered.
