Student Housing, Goswell Road, London EC1

This scheme comprises 73 self-contained student study bedrooms over seven floors on a very tight site in Clerkenwell.

The approach on this project is one of simplicity, utilising the built form rather than adding complex and expensive systems. The new building has large glazing panels to maximise daylight penetration. The thermal mass of the concrete frame is utilised to reduce heating and cooling response times, whilst minimising sound transmission.
